The easiest way to estimate how much junk you have, is to measure your pile in feet (length X width X height) and divide by 27.


1 cubic yard = 3' X 3' X 3'

    For example: a washing machine is approximately 3' X 2.5' X 3.5' = 26.5' divided by 27 = .97 cubic yards or approximately 1 cubic yard.
